We manufacture and hire white LED starcloths and our hire stock is of the highest quality black wool serge
in 3 metre widths with ties all around which join by Velcro. They can be controlled either using DMX protocol
or using our UniLED controller for smaller requirements. We also manufacture DMX controllers.
Since our hire stock contains 8 LED's per square meter, we recommend the same spread of illumination to our purchase customers.
This means if you buy your own starcloths you can match it with our hire stock.
The white LED starcloths are on 4 channels producing a seamless twinkling effect.
These 4 channels can be controlled by DMX512 protocol, when operated with our DMX power supply unit and
lighting desk or controller.
DURABILITY
Universal Stars Inc.s starcloths are manufactured from a high quality DFR Black Wool Serge that meets BS flammability standards BS5867:Part2:Type B. For customers looking for a higher grade of flammability, Universal Stars can also provide an IFR fabric, which is sometimes requested in some EU Countries e.g. Germany.
White LED starcloths are connected using Neutrik's XLR connectors, and for smaller sizes using the UniLED controller a simple 7pin connector can be used.
Each starcloth can have 4 input connectors on one side and 4 output connectors on the other. This dramatically reduces cabling which can be costly.
To ensure the durability of the product, each LED can be encapsulated, which ensures minimal damage to the bulbs.
